• Go through the Children's FAQs on our website & share the videos of their class teacher and other adults they will see in school.

• Talk to your child as much as possible - as if you are giving a running commentary on daily life.

• Read & share books with your child as often as possible - this will help their love of language grow.

• Sing nursery rhymes and songs.

• Involve your child in everyday jobs, such as: cooking, gardening, shopping, etc. There are endless learning opportunities in these.

In the Autumn term there should be the opportunity for parents and carers to attend a series of Learning Workshops to find out how to further support children with phonics, reading, writing and number.
